Starhub Green Prepaid & Happy 128

What is good about Prepaid Card and why are people switching to Prepaid card? Let's be more updated about the current best deal and I would like to share some of my experience with you.

I am both a prepaid and plan user. When I was 15 years old, I sign up for Singtel monthly plan, then I found that it is not so worth to pay so much so I switch to Singtel prepaid. Then I find that it is not worth too so I switch to Starhub prepaid. Since 17 years old, I have been using Starhub prepaid card till now and the good deal to use prepaid card is getting better and better over the year.

For starhub $18 prepaid card, it expires in 6 months. It has 2 hours talk time or 1080 sms that we can send if we were to send exactly 15 sms per day. 15 sms per day will be able to yield the most because for every first 5 sms that we send in one day, we can get 10 free sms. Caller ID is free. Calling is by minutes charge and we can activate free incoming call by paying 60 cents per day. I would think that it is not a very good deal for this Starhub Green Prepaid but it is still affordable because Caller ID is free compared to monthly plan which we need to pay $5 for the Caller ID. What's good about this starhub prepaid is that for every top up, we will have 60 free sms and the $18 top up card only cost $15.50 in many shops out there.

Happy 128 Starhub Prepaid benefit has been introduced not long ago. This prepaid provides the BEST deal and no other monthly plan can compete with it. The top up card cost $28 (expire in 50 days) but many shops are selling at $26 and inside this card, there is $100 of local call and sms plus $28 oversea call. If we were to send more than 15 smses per day, we will be able to yield 2500 smses in 50 days. It also means that we can send 1500 smses in one month. If I were to convert into talk time, we can have about 12 hours to 20 hours of talk time for just $26 (first min 15 cents, second min 8 cents). Caller ID is free. And now left with $28 for oversea call; global call has about 30 minutes talk time or about 180 smses that we can send. In short, for just $15.60 per month, we can have 3600 of local smses, 108 Global smses or 8 hours of local talk time, 18 minutes of global talk time.

Singtel also introduce this HOT 100 prepaid card which is the same as Starhub Happy 128 but the only different is the rate. Singtel does not give free sms so the max sms for that $28 card is 2000 smses and the calling is charged in term of minutes but starhub in seconds. Well, I would say Starhub Happy 128 has a better deal, grab it if you like it and you can also check the amount of money left in your prepaid card to have a good idea of how fast you are using it.

After using Happy 128 for the first time, I have left $3 for local and $2 for Global in my $100 local, $28 Global amount and my card is going to expire in 2 more days. I knew that I have been sending a lot of messages over the month of good deal. Thing about it and give some feedback if you have.

Haha,, I got ti too. and it just expired yesterday before I top up. my left over S$34 local call disappeared.

As my credit on the original card is S$0, i went to top up at ATM, top S$10 get S$11.50 + 40 SMS

Not a bad deal after all.

Btw, M1 also has a similar plan. Singtel one has free incoming call (but do they deduct from the S$100) ?

Hi, I am using starhub happy 128 now. I still have $45 inside but why I can neither call nor sms back Malaysia?

Hi,

Reply to Bryan's question, if I am not wrong, IDD 018 will be charged from IDD balance, that is from $28, and NOT from local balance $100.

Please click here to refer to the starhub page and go to point# 12

hi i need help! i am gg overseas and i am currently on the happy $128. i think starhub mentioned in the site that i have to maintain a bal of $8 to keep my roaming up and running.

So i have done that and i still have about $200 in my global calls! will my roaming charges be deducted from my happy acct or the main acct?

im soo confused and thanks in advance!
